I closed my eyes during Covid-19 lockdown and imagined what it would feel like to be walking through the streets of the Old City in Jerusalem. The buzz, the atmosphere, the spiritual environment. And then as I walk deeper and deeper through the winding streets and the tunnels and arches, I invite my audience to suddenly stumble across a mirror in the painting. And confront the reflection staring back. Time for introspection.
