Description

 Western Medicine is mixed with the Eastern influences of ‘medicine’. The Roman medical system created the first hospitals. Verus spiritual awakening, protection and healing. Does the cure come from tablets or from the Hamsa? I painted the eastern inspired Hamsa thinking about Western Medicine. I explored the textures of tablets, of nurses gloves, of the spiritually charged Hamsa that promises health and love.
